What 1C:ITS is, what plans there are and whether a small business needs it

1C:ITS is an information technology support contract for “1C:Enterprise” programs. It gives the right to official platform and configuration updates, access to the 1C Company consultation line, the its.1c.kz information system and services, for example direct exchange with the ESF information system. Commercial companies in Kazakhstan can choose between two contract levels: PROF at 169 000 ₸ for 12 months and TECHNO at 83 200 ₸ (1C Company recommended prices from 1 June 2026). For a small business on the Basic version, the contract is not required: updates and consultations are already included in its price. It is needed if ESF are sent directly from Accounting Basic through the 1C:ESF service. On PROF and CORP without ITS, the program will keep working, but there will be no new updates, and you will not be able to send ESF directly from 1C. So a company that keeps records in PROF and issues ESF from the program needs the contract.

Recommended prices are taken from information letters on 1c.kz, and partner plans from 1c-rating.kz. Everything was checked on 1 October 2026; prices include VAT.

What 1C:ITS is in simple terms

A 1C program is bought once, while support is paid for a period: PROF for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, TECHNO for 6 or 12. 1C Company treats updates to its programs as the same object of exclusive rights as the programs themselves and distributes them under its own rules. Since 1 July 2012, users of “1C:Enterprise 8” in Kazakhstan have been supported only under a 1C:ITS Kazakhstan contract. The exception is Basic versions: their support is included in the product price.

Only official 1C Company partners sign the contract, and the client can be a legal entity or an individual who is a registered user of the program. The partner must register the contract with 1C Company, and this can be checked on its.1c.kz. The program itself is registered on the 1C:ITS portal (portal.1c.ru): the delivery set includes a separate PIN code for this.

What 1C:ITS in Kazakhstan includes

Platform, configuration and reporting form updates

Updates are the main reason to sign the contract. The “1C:Software Update” service delivers new releases of standard configurations and the platform, as well as information about planned releases. In updates, 1C Company reflects legislative changes and current forms of documents and statutory reporting.

1C Company names the releases.1c.ru website, its partners with special license agreements and ITS discs as legal channels for getting updates. An update “copied from a friend” or downloaded from an unofficial website is considered illegal by 1C Company.

Consultations and the its.1c.kz information system

• The 1C Company consultation line by phone and email. It answers only questions about standard programs. Email questions are answered within 5 business days, and for explanations of legal norms, 1C refers you to the authorized government bodies.
• The its.1c.kz information system: step-by-step instructions for accounting in 1C programs, Kazakhstan legislation, methodological materials, answers to frequently asked questions. Access is open while the contract is valid; you log in with a 1C:ITS portal account.
• “The auditor answers” — written consultations from 1C auditors and methodologists on accounting, tax and HR records.
• “1C:Lectorium” — webinars about legislative changes and how they are reflected in the programs.

Partners add their own consultations to this. For example, in the 1C-Rating service line plans, this is from 15 to 60 minutes per day. Unused minutes do not carry over.

Services for accounting and business

• 1C:ESF for Kazakhstan — direct exchange of ESF, EAVR and SNT with the ESF information system from the program. Available to the PROF and CORP versions with a 1C:ITS contract, and to 1C:Accounting Basic starting with release 3.0.53.2 with a TECHNO or PROF level contract. At the service launch, a PROF-level contract allowed connecting up to 10 organizations, TECHNO allowed one. If documents are not sent, the causes are covered in the article “ESF is not sent from 1C”.
• 1C:Reporting for Kazakhstan — the service was launched in pilot mode in January 2026. It checks forms against the State Revenue Committee (KGD) format and logic control rules and sends tax reporting to ISNA directly from 1C. The service works in 1C:Accounting for Kazakhstan 3.0, 1C:ERP and 1C:Integrated Automation 2.4, and 1C:Salary and HR Management 3.1. At launch, forms 200.00 and 910.00 for 2025 were fully supported, and for forms 100.00, 300.00 and 328.00, export to JSON for the Taxpayer's Office was available. A support contract of any category gives one organization at no extra charge.
• 1C:DirectBank — sending payments and receiving statements directly from 1C. If the bank is not connected, the statement is loaded as a file: how to do this for Kaspi, Halyk and Forte is described in a separate article.
• 1C:Electronic Employment Contracts — sending employment contracts from 1C to the ESUTD portal (enbek.kz).
• 1C:Counterparty — filling in counterparty details by BIN or name.
• 1C:Link, 1C:Cloud Archive and 1C-Connect — remote access to the database over the internet, backups in the 1C cloud and quick contact with a support specialist.

ITS PROF and ITS TECHNO: the difference

TECHNO is a minimum package, essentially only legal updates. PROF is the full set of services from 1C Company and partners. Comparison based on the plan contents on promoits.1c.kz and 1C Kazakhstan letters:

You can move from TECHNO to PROF without waiting for the contract to end. The extra payment depends on the number of months left on TECHNO: 7 300 ₸ for one month, 43 700 ₸ for six, 80 100 ₸ for eleven. The switch always takes effect from the next month, and PROF services start working on the 1st day of that month.

How much 1C:ITS costs in 2026

From 1 June 2026, the following recommended retail prices apply (including 16% VAT):

Recommended prices assume standard conditions: a standard configuration, one program, one database, one workstation, partner work taking no more than an hour, and travel to the client by public transport taking no more than an hour. If the conditions differ or the partner provides additional services, the price may differ. Under 1C Company rules, only the servicing partner states the exact price. Prices include 16% VAT.

Renewal discount and complimentary period

ITS PROF has a loyalty program: renewing without a break costs less. If the previous contract was for 12 months or under the 8+4 scheme, the next year costs 138 600 ₸ instead of 169 000 ₸. After a contract for 6, 3 or 1 month, annual renewal costs more: 145 400, 150 600 and 155 500 ₸. A break of a month or more between contracts cancels the discount. Those signing up for PROF for the first time pay the full price and get the discount at the first renewal. The loyalty program does not apply to TECHNO.

Program deliveries, except Basic versions, include a coupon for complimentary 1C:ITS Kazakhstan support. Under 1C Company terms, the complimentary period lasts 3 months at no extra charge. In the loyalty program table, it is in the same column as a 3-month contract, so annual PROF renewal right after it costs 150 600 ₸. If you sign an annual contract together with buying the program, the 8+4 scheme applies: 12 months for 92 300 ₸, of which 4 months are free.

Partner plans: service, individual and project lines

Partners sell ITS in packages together with their own services. As an example, take the 1C-Rating plans. The service line is designed for standard databases without customization:

The entry-level plan costs the same on signing as the recommended annual ITS PROF. Higher plans differ in consultation minutes, response speed and the number of databases on which the partner performs routine maintenance. In all plans of this line, exchange with the ESF information system is free for 10 organizations.

The individual line is meant for customized databases. The plan includes specialist working hours:

There is also a project line, for implementing and developing a system using project methodology. Its plans start from 320 000 ₸ on signing; a small business usually does not need it. Several stores or branches: ITS for a remote office

If a company has branches, several retail outlets or affiliated legal entities that do not work in the same local network, the licensing rules require a separate main delivery for each organization or network. Each one can be supported under a separate ITS contract, or you can arrange ITS for a remote office. In that case, ITS PROF is signed for the head organization, and ITS DUO for the remote offices. It is issued only for 12 months with prepayment and costs 23 400 ₸ per office if there are one to five of them. With more offices, the price per office is lower.

Is ITS needed for the 1C Basic version

It is not required. Under 1C Company terms, support for Basic versions is included in their price. For example, registered users of 1C:Accounting 8 for Kazakhstan in the Basic version get program and reporting form updates, as well as consultation line support by phone and email, free of charge. An ITS contract for Basic is signed if additional support is needed.

The contract does not remove the limitations of Basic itself. You still cannot change the configuration or keep several organizations in one database. However, a TECHNO or PROF level contract lets you connect 1C:Accounting Basic, starting with release 3.0.53.2, to direct exchange with the ESF information system. If these limitations already get in the way, it is time to calculate the move to PROF, and a second user will need 1C client licenses. What happens if you do not renew ITS

The right to use the purchased program is not lost; it keeps working in full. But there are consequences:

• Updates stop. You can use only the updates received before the contract ended. New reporting forms and legislative changes will not arrive.
• The consultation line is unavailable. Questions can be asked by users whose program is connected to official support. In addition, the line does not consider requests about errors in outdated releases.
• 1C:ESF stops working. Direct exchange with the ESF information system (in PROF, CORP and Accounting Basic) is provided only with a valid contract, and 1C:Reporting requires a support contract of any category.
• The renewal discount is lost. After a break of a month or more, annual ITS PROF costs 169 000 ₸ again, not 138 600 ₸.
• The backlog grows. The longer the database has not been updated, the more releases will have to be installed after renewal. This takes more time, and a backup is needed before starting.

You can still customize the configuration: 1C terms keep your right to change it yourself using the standard tools from the delivery set. You only cannot use the copyright holder's new updates.

You can check whether your configuration is standard or modified in Designer mode: the “Configuration” menu — “Support” — “Support settings”. If the ability to make changes is enabled there or the configuration has been removed from support, changes may have been made to it, and any change makes the configuration non-standard. 1C Company states directly that it does not guarantee that a non-standard configuration will work after an update. So such databases are updated with an analysis of customizations, and programmer hours are included in the plan. Checklist before signing an ITS contract

1. Determine the program version: Basic, PROF or CORP.
2. Check whether the configuration is standard or modified.
3. Count the organizations that will send ESF from 1C: ITS PROF connects up to 10 at no extra charge.
4. Count the databases and remote offices: offices in other networks need their own contract or ITS DUO.
5. Make sure the program is registered on the 1C:ITS portal. The program, the ITS contract and the 1C:ESF service packages must be in the same account through which online support is connected.
6. Check on its.1c.kz that the partner has registered the contract with 1C Company.
7. Write down the contract end date and renew without a break to keep the discount.
8. Ask the partner what is included beyond ITS: consultation minutes, routine maintenance, update schedule.
