How much 1C costs in Kazakhstan in 2026: program, licenses, ITS, implementation

The cheapest 1C in Kazakhstan as of October 2026 costs 25 900 ₸: 1C:Accounting 8 for Kazakhstan in the Basic version for one user. For an LLP where two or three people work in the database at the same time and ESF go to the ESF information system directly from the program, the budget is different: the PROF version is 97 250 ₸, each additional workstation is 44 712 ₸, and a 1C:ITS contract is from 169 000 ₸ in the first year. For a company with three users, this is 355 674 ₸ for the first year, excluding implementation work. Below we go through each cost item and calculate two budgets at real prices.

Prices in the article are taken from the price list and plans on 1c-rating.kz and were checked on 1 October 2026. Prices may differ between 1C partners, so check them on the invoice date before buying.

What the cost of 1C consists of

A 1C budget has five parts. The first three are paid once, the fourth every year, and the fifth depends on the project.

1. Program (main delivery): the “1C:Enterprise 8” platform, the configuration and a license for one workstation.
2. Client licenses — for each additional user who works in the database at the same time as others.
3. Server license — only if the database runs in the client-server mode.
4. 1C:ITS contract — updates, services, consultations.
5. Work: installation, setup, data transfer, training, customization.

An alternative to the first four items is 1C in the cloud: instead of buying, you pay a subscription. We calculate it in a separate section.

Prices for 1C programs for Kazakhstan in 2026

Accounting, Trade Management, UNF and Retail are released in two versions: Basic and PROF. The prices below are for electronic delivery: the distribution, documentation and PIN codes are delivered through your personal account on the 1C:ITS portal immediately after payment is received, with no need to wait for a box.

Basic or PROF: what you get for the price difference

The Basic version is almost four times cheaper than PROF, but its limitations are strict. According to 1C Company's description of 1C:Accounting 8 for Kazakhstan:

• the database is used by only one user;
• the configuration cannot be changed — only the standard program and its updates;
• several organizations cannot be kept in one database, only in separate ones;
• distributed infobases are not supported;
• direct exchange with the ESF information system only under a 1C:ITS contract: the “1C:ESF for Kazakhstan” service is connected to Accounting Basic starting with release 3.0.53.2 with a TECHNO or PROF level contract.

The Basic version of Trade Management has similar limitations: one user, no configuration changes, one organization per database, no distributed databases. In addition, its description states that the client-server mode is not supported.

The Basic version also has an advantage: according to the product description on 1c.kz, registered users get program and reporting form updates free of charge. If the company has one accountant and accounting without customization, Basic is enough; ESF are sent from Accounting Basic directly with a 1C:ITS contract at the TECHNO or PROF level. As soon as you need a second user or customization, you need PROF. More about the upgrade is in the article “1C Basic or PROF”.

Does a small business need the CORP level

As a rule, no. Under 1C licensing rules, PROF licenses are designed for an infobase with no more than 500 sessions running at the same time and no more than 12 processor cores in use. CORP licenses are needed by large systems above these thresholds or for the extended features of the CORP server. With a load below the thresholds, PROF licenses are enough for small and medium businesses.

How much 1C licenses for additional workstations cost

The main delivery includes a license for one workstation. If three people work in the database at the same time, you need to buy two more client licenses. What counts is simultaneous work, not the number of employees on staff.

An important detail from the licensing rules: a client license gives access to any configuration bought as a main delivery. If you have Accounting and Trade Management, you do not need separate license sets for each program. Each main delivery brings its own workstation: in a 1C-Kazakhstan explanation, for five users of two programs, two main deliveries and three client licenses are enough.

Licenses with a USB key cost more than electronic ones: a single-workstation PROF license with hardware protection costs 59 616 ₸.

When a bundle is more cost-effective. Accounting for four users: PROF plus three single licenses is 231 386 ₸, while the “Bundle for 5 users” is 226 875 ₸. Starting from four users, the bundle is cheaper and leaves room for a fifth. For three users, PROF plus two separate licenses is more cost-effective at 186 674 ₸.

1C server license: when you need it

A server license is needed only for the client-server mode. The file mode, according to the platform description, is designed for one user or a small group on a local network and works without a 1C server. The client-server mode is intended for work groups and enterprise-scale use.

What is important to know before buying:

• a server license applies to one server computer, and that server can work with any number of databases;
• the MINI server allows no more than five user sessions and one Designer session, and its cluster can have only one working server. 1C Company recommends it for a small office or retail outlet with up to five workstations;
• client licenses are needed in any mode; a server license does not replace them;
• if Microsoft SQL Server is chosen as the DBMS, it needs its own licenses, at least as many as the number of simultaneous users.

How much 1C:ITS costs in 2026

The program and licenses are paid for once, while a 1C:ITS contract is paid annually. Formally, it is not mandatory: without a valid contract, the PROF program will keep working, but you will not get new updates, only those released before the contract ended. For accounting in Kazakhstan, this matters, because statutory reporting changes following legislation. In addition, direct ESF exchange with the ESF information system for the PROF and CORP versions is available only to users with official support.

When you buy the PROF version, under the support terms on 1c.kz, a complimentary support period is provided: during it, 1C:ITS contract services are provided at no extra charge. When buying, check with the partner how long the complimentary period lasts and how it fits with a paid contract. In the examples below, ITS is calculated for a full year, that is, at the upper limit.

1C Company's recommended prices from 1 June 2026: 1C:ITS PROF for 12 months 169 000 ₸, renewal without a break 138 600 ₸, ITS TECHNO for 12 months 83 200 ₸. Partners also sell ITS in packages with their own services. Below, as an example, are the plans of the partner 1C-Rating as of 16.10.2026.

• updates of standard configurations;
• access to its.1c.kz and portal.1c.ru;
• consultations from 15 to 60 minutes per day depending on the plan; unused minutes do not carry over;
• exchange of ESF, EAVR and SNT with the ESF information system directly from 1C, free for up to 10 organizations.

ITS prices include VAT. For the first year, budget the “on signing” amount; from the second year, the “renewal” amount. You can choose a plan, sign a contract and set up updates as part of 1C support under an ITS contract.

How much 1C implementation costs

There is no single price for implementation: the work is estimated for each specific company. The amount depends on:

• Setup scope. Accounting policy, chart of accounts, user rights, catalogs.
• Data transfer. Transferring only balances as of the start date is faster than balances with turnovers for a period. Transfer from 1C 7.7, Excel or another program is estimated separately.
• Integrations. Bank statements, the ESF information system, retail equipment, exchange between programs (for example, Trade Management and Accounting), a website or a marketplace.
• Customization. Reports, print forms and data processors for your process. They are possible only in PROF: Basic does not allow configuration changes.
• Training. How many roles and people need to be trained.

Customizations cost you twice: first during development, then at every update, because a customized database is harder to update than a standard one. ITS plans show this too: customized databases have a separate individual line, and its entry plan costs more than the entry service plan: 277 000 ₸ versus 169 000 ₸ on signing.

Ask for an estimate as a list of work items with hours for each, not a single amount. This shows what you are paying for and what can be postponed to a second stage. 1C in the cloud: how much renting costs instead of buying

In the cloud, you do not need to buy the program, licenses or a server: you pay a subscription, and the provider takes care of updates and backups. For reference, here are cloud 1C plans from the same source, 1c-rating.kz. They apply from 1 June 2026, and prices include VAT.

A workstation in the cloud is a simultaneous connection session, and connections to all rented databases are counted. The “Optimal” plan includes exchange with the ESF information system, the 1C:Reporting service and consultations of 10 minutes per day. It has no access to the Designer, so the configuration cannot be customized. Some programs have a 30-day free period, and teams of 20 or more workstations get a separate plan on request.

The cloud pays off for a small team on a standard program without its own server and administrator. Buying is justified if you need customization, have many users or want to keep the database in-house: the cloud works only with an internet connection.

Example 1: a 1C budget for an LLP with 3 users

Conditions. An LLP provides services and sells goods without a complex warehouse. An accountant, a director and a manager work in 1C at the same time. ESF are issued directly from the program, and the database has no customizations. The Basic version does not fit: it has one user.

From the second year, you pay only for a 1C:ITS PROF renewal without a break: 138 600 ₸. Over three years, excluding work, this comes to 632 874 ₸.

Cloud option for the same three users: “Optimal” for 137 600 ₸ per year, 412 800 ₸ over three years if prices stay the same. For standard Accounting with three workstations, the cloud is cheaper. Buying is justified if you plan customizations or fast staff growth.

Example 2: a 1C budget for an LLP with 10 users

Conditions. A trading company with a warehouse. Operational accounting and the warehouse are handled in Trade Management, accounting and tax records in Accounting. Up to 10 people work in the databases at the same time.

Why this way. Each main delivery gives one workstation, so two deliveries give two. The cheapest way to cover the remaining eight workstations is a 5-workstation license plus three single licenses: 289 138 ₸. A 10-workstation license costs 298 080 ₸, that is, 8 942 ₸ more, but leaves room for up to 12 simultaneous users. Check how many programs and databases the chosen plan covers when signing the contract. The MINI server will not work here: it is designed for a maximum of five user sessions.

With the client-server mode, the first year will cost 1 039 398–1 287 798 ₸ excluding hardware, DBMS and work. From the second year, a 1C:ITS PROF renewal without a break: 138 600 ₸. Over three years in the file mode, the programs, licenses and ITS cost 968 838 ₸.

Cloud option. Trade Management is available in the cloud on the “Comprehensive” plan: 8 410 ₸ per workstation per month; for 10 workstations, 1 009 200 ₸ per year for Trade Management alone, without Accounting. Over three years, this is about 3 million ₸, so with ten users buying is noticeably more cost-effective.

Summary: a 1C budget checklist

1. Count how many people work in the database at the same time: the number of licenses depends on this.
2. Choose the version. Basic means one user and no customization; in Accounting, direct exchange with the ESF information system requires a 1C:ITS contract at the TECHNO or PROF level. In all other cases, you need PROF.
3. Keep in mind that each main delivery already includes one workstation. For Accounting, from four users, the bundle for 5 is more cost-effective.
4. Budget a server license only for the client-server mode. The MINI server allows up to five sessions.
5. ITS costs more in the first year than on renewal: calculate both amounts.
6. Ask for implementation and customization to be estimated as a list of work items.
7. Compare buying and the cloud over a three-year horizon.
