1C update in Almaty — standard and customized configurations

A one-time update is priced by scope: how many releases were skipped, whether a new platform is needed, whether there are customizations. We state the cost before work starts. If you update regularly, a 1C:ITS PROF contract is more convenient: 169 000 ₸ for 12 months and 138 600 ₸ for a renewal without a break, at 1C Company's recommended prices. We will quote scheduled updates on request.

Releases for Kazakhstan come out regularly, especially when legislation and reporting forms change. It is better to install them as they come out, not once a year: the more you skip, the longer the chain and the higher the risk of errors.

Before the update we make a backup of the database. If something does not work right after the update, the database can be returned to its state before the update. After the update we check key operations.

Yes. We compare the customizations with the new release and merge them so that the changes are kept. If there are many customizations and they get in the way of every update, we propose moving them into extensions: a 1C programmer does this, and further updates go more easily.

New configuration releases require a certain minimum version of the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform. We update the platform on all computers and on the server where 1C runs, otherwise the updated database will not open.

The new Tax Code of Kazakhstan has been in effect since 1 January 2026, including the 16% VAT rate. Changes in accounting and reporting come to 1C with configuration releases. After the update we check that the tax settings and reporting forms match the new rules.

Usually remotely: we agree on a time that does not disrupt the accounting department's work. In Almaty we come to the office if needed. Clients from other cities are updated remotely.

No: 7.7 and 8.3 are different platforms and cannot be connected by an update. Moving from 7.7 means transferring data to a new 8.3 database; it is described on the “1C implementation” page.
