Can the assistant damage anything in the database?

No. Access is strictly read-only: the connector reads metadata and runs select queries. Nothing is created, changed or deleted, so it is safe by design.

Does data go to an external ChatGPT?

No. The assistant works in your perimeter and accesses your 1C database directly. BIN, IIN and amounts are not passed to public services, and nothing needs to be anonymized by hand.

Do I need to know the 1C query language?

No. That is the whole point: you write the question in plain words, and the assistant translates it into a 1C query. There is no need to open reports or the query console.
